In celebration of the 2025 International Day of Education, NdiAssam Foundation, in collaboration with the Nigerian Girl Guides Association, FCT Chapter, organized an impactful outreach program for school children at LEA Naria Primary School in the Karu community of Abuja. This initiative aimed to reinforce the transformative power of education in shaping young minds and preparing them for a brighter future. By reaching out to these children, the partnership sought to inspire, educate, and encourage them to embrace learning as a tool for personal and societal growth.
With the theme “The Importance of Education,” the event underscored the crucial role education plays in empowering young learners to achieve their dreams. Participants engaged in age-appropriate discussions designed to help them understand why attending school, acquiring knowledge, and staying committed to their studies are essential for unlocking future opportunities. These conversations emphasized how education serves as a foundation for breaking barriers, fostering innovation, and equipping individuals with the skills needed to contribute meaningfully to society.

A key highlight of the program was the awards ceremony, where outstanding pupils from various classes were recognized for their academic achievements. The presentation of prizes to these exceptional students not only celebrated their hard work but also served as a powerful source of motivation for their peers. By rewarding excellence, the initiative encouraged a culture of dedication, perseverance, and enthusiasm for learning among the students.
This collaborative effort between the NdiAssam Foundation and the Nigerian Girl Guides Association reflects a shared commitment to promoting education and empowering future generations. By investing in young learners, the initiative reinforces the belief that education is not just a privilege but a fundamental right that paves the way for a prosperous and equitable society. Through such programs, the foundation continues to inspire and support the next generation of leaders, ensuring that every child has access to the knowledge and opportunities they need to succeed.
